Athens, Greece, February 5, 2014 – the leading European manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) products, today announced that the company has joined the board of Romanian trade association Romanian Photovoltaic Industry Association (RPIA).
RECOM currently has 45MW of solar installed in Romania making the company one of the two largest module suppliers for the country.
RECOM’s Chief Executive Officer Laert Tunyan said, “RECOM is expanding its share of solar energy projects in Romania. In joining RPIA’s board, we’re underscoring our commitment to increasing the deployment of solar energy in Romania and around the world. We view RPIA as a vital partner in our effort to expand clean power generation.”
