Frankfurt, Germany, June 30, 2014 – the leading European manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) products, today announced that the company has successfully accomplished its goals of solidifying the company’s presence in the finance community at REFF Wall Street last week.
The company also joined ACORE – a nonprofit organization founded to advance renewable energy through finance, policy, technology, and market development and is concentrating its member focus on National Defense & Security, Power Generation & Infrastructure, and Transportation.
RECOM’s Chief Executive Officer Laert Tunyan said, “RECOM is expanding its share of solar energy projects in the United States. In joining ACORE, we’re underscoring our commitment to increasing the deployment of solar energy in US and around the world. We view ACORE as a vital partner in our effort to expand clean power generation.”
More than 60 experts from the public and private sectors as well as the renewable energy finance field addressed a gathering of over 600 delegates brought together to discuss pressing issues as the clean energy markets are reaching a tipping point while the industry again deals with uncertainty due to a continued lack of clarity around federal tax incentives and with the mid-term elections less than six months away.
