February 23, 2014 – RECOM Solar AG, a European solar PV manufacturer with global prominence, announced today that the company will be an exhibitor at PV Expo in Tokyo ─ Japan’s largest B-to-B international exhibition specialized in the solar industry. The tradeshow will take place at Tokyo Big Sight from February 26 to 28, 2014.
RECOM will showcase its latest poly- and monocrystalline PV modules. The all-black Panther & Amur Leopard series provides seamless integration on residential roofs whereas the high performance White Jaguar series provides excellent yield for commercial and utility project developers.
“Our products have proven performance in the field. We earn our customers’ satisfaction with our cutting edge modules and greater energy yields.” said CEO & Co-Founder Laert Tunyan. “In all cases we have outperformed our competitors by 1.7% – 3.5% higher energy yield, figures which derive from tests and studies conducted in real conditions and not controlled lab environments” added Tunyan.
With the Japanese feed-in tariff in place, there was twice as much solar installed in Japan in the first half of 2013 as in all of 2012. The Japanese market is projected to grow well over 6 gigawatts of installed capacity in 2014, of which RECOM is likely to claim a substantial portion.
